Pablo Codesido
Born in La Plata (Argentina), 1972
At the age of 6 he began studying art in the “Escuela de Estética de la Plata” (La Plata Aesthetics Art School).
At the age of 9 he was awarded a place in the Fine Arts School in La Plata, which belongs to the Faculty of Fine Arts of the National University of La Plata. He studied here for the next 9 years whilst also attending painting and sculpture classes given by different local artists.
In 1991, he graduated in art obtaining the qualification of “Teacher specializing in art”.
One year later he began studying architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design of La Plata.
In 1996-1997 he lived in Switzerland after being granted a scholarship to study at the “Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio, Università della Svizzera italiana” with the architect Peter Zumthor.
He graduated in Architecture in 2000.
Since 2002 he has worked as an architect in Madrid and currently works with Richard Rogers. During this time, he has participated in projects such as the New Terminal Area Madrid-Barajas Airport, Zaragoza International Expo 2008 “Water and Sustainable Development” and the Abengoa Headquarters “Campus Palmas Altas” Business Park in Seville.
